Botox™ Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical, treatment that temporarily smooths moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This 10-minute treatment, a few tiny injections, creates a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows within days and each treatment can last up to 4 months. The Procedure
Botox™ treatment involves only a few small injections during a 10-minute session. The injections, cause the treated area to fill out, reducing the appearance of unsightly wrinkles and frown lines.

Botox™ for Excessive Sweating
Botox™ Cosmetic is also an effective treatment for excessive underarm and hand sweating. The treatment works by interfering with the nerves that activate sweat glands. The effectiveness of each treatment lasts from three to nine months. The treatment usually reduces sweating to a level that can be controlled with regular antiperspirants.

After Treatment
Don’t massage the injected area. Refrain from strenuous exercise. Don’t lie down or sleep for two to three hours after treatment.

Side Effects Of Botox™
There is a small amount of discomfort as Botox™ is injected. The discomfort is brief and generally limited to the 10 to 15 minutes during which the treatment is taking place. Occasionally, there is trace bleeding or bruising. Rare side effects include injection site infection. Since every individual is unique, individual results vary.
